What's been missing is the bridge from guide to execution. An MSP reads through the steps, understands the process, and then spends 6 to 12 hours stitching together APIs, writing scripts, and testing before they have a working automation. Most never get there. The guide stays as a reference. The process stays manual.
Today, we are excited to announce Pax8’s "Build with AI" feature, powered by Bumblebee. Partners can now launch any curated integration guide on Bumblebee with a single click. 1. New Client Onboarding in Pax8
The problem: When an MSP signs a new client, one of the first steps is creating that company in Pax8 — entering the business name, address, contacts, and billing details. For MSPs onboarding multiple clients per month, this is repetitive data entry that's easy to get wrong. A typo in the address, a missing contact, or a misconfigured billing setting creates downstream problems that surface weeks later.
What the workflow does:
- Starts when a CRM deal is marked Closed-Won and pulls the new client details
- Creates the company record in Pax8 with the correct address, phone, and billing configuration
- Adds contacts with the appropriate roles (Admin, Billing, Technical)
- Verifies the company, contacts, and CRM sync were provisioned correctly
Instead of toggling between systems and copying fields, technicians onboard a new client in one step — and the data is consistent from day one.

2. Pax8 to PSA Company & Subscription Synchronization
The problem: MSPs manage client records in both Pax8 and their PSA, but these systems don't share a common identifier. The same client might be "Acme Corp" in Pax8 and "Acme Corporation" in ConnectWise. And because technicians and account managers routinely make ad hoc updates — fixing a typo here, changing a contact there — the data drifts apart over time.
This is the quiet bottleneck behind most Pax8 automation attempts. You can't reconcile invoices, sync subscriptions, or automate onboarding if your company data isn't continuously synchronized across systems.
What the workflow does:
- Pulls the full company list from Pax8 and your PSA
- Matches companies using intelligent name matching that handles variations, abbreviations, and formatting differences
- Produces a mapping table linking each Pax8 company ID to its PSA counterpart
- Pulls Pax8 subscriptions and PSA agreements or contracts for matched companies
- Matches subscriptions to agreements using product and SKU similarity
- Flags unmatched companies, orphaned subscriptions or agreements, and quantity mismatches for manual review
Once this synchronization runs on a regular cadence, ad hoc human edits no longer silently break downstream automations. This is the foundation workflow that keeps both company and subscription-level mappings reliable.
For partners with very large clients, split this into two workflows — one focused on company mapping and one focused on subscription-to-agreement mapping — to improve run reliability and operational visibility at scale.

3. End-of-Month Invoice Reconciliation
The problem: Every month, MSPs need to verify that what Pax8 charged them actually matches what they billed their customers through their PSA. Prorated charges, mid-cycle license changes, and per-user pricing create non-standard line items like $14.67 or $23.42 that don't cleanly map between systems. Worse, vendors sometimes change pricing without notifying the MSP — so the numbers you're comparing against may have shifted without anyone realizing it. For an MSP with dozens of clients and hundreds of subscriptions, this means days of manual, line-by-line comparison — and the inevitable errors that come with it.
Overcharges erode margins. Undercharges erode customer trust. Silent price changes erode both.

- Pulls the latest invoice and line items from Pax8 for each company
- Pulls the corresponding invoices from your PSA (ConnectWise, Syncro, Autotask, HaloPSA, or SuperOps)
- Matches line items across systems, accounting for prorated amounts, mid-cycle changes, and quantity adjustments
- Flags every discrepancy — overbilled, underbilled, or missing — in a structured report
